Class Location: Glassell Park Studio
Band Class is a 45 minute weekly interactive class designed for budding musicians ages 5-10, with no prior experience.
Our approach is rooted in the belief that social-emotional learning, connection and performance-based education is key to developing a child and musical proficiency. Weekly classes will consist of students learning music fundamentals, chords, rhythm, and song structure.
They’ll get hands-on experience with a variety of instruments, including guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, and vocals, exploring modern music genres like rock, pop, reggae, hip hop, and R&B.
This exploration helps them choose the instrument they may be most passionate about. Our group band class goes beyond just music lessons; it’s a space for performance, improvisation, and composition. Students will have the opportunity to showcase their skills, fostering a sense of achievement and confidence.
Additionally, they’ll learn valuable life skills such as teamwork, social interaction, and enhanced hand-eye coordination, similar to playing sports. Join us in discovering new skills and talents!
