About Minibop
All-in-One Music Based Programs & Curriculum
Learning at the Heart of Everything
Minibop Music is an early education organization that provides music enrichment and resources for families and schools.
By utilizing the universal language of music, Minibop makes learning more engaging and accessible.
We are a team of educators, musicians and parents who are committed to bettering children’s lives through education and music.
What We Do
Minibop’s curriculums combine subjects such as English Language Arts (ELA), math, science and social-emotional learning (SEL) with engaging musical activities. The result is a fun and inspiring learning experience for students from all backgrounds and abilities.
Philosophy
At Minibop Music, our philosophy is rooted in the belief that every child deserves access to high-quality music education.
We believe that music is a powerful tool for fostering creativity, enhancing cognitive development, and promoting social-emotional well-being.
Our curriculum is designed to not only teach musical skills but also to inspire a love of learning and a lifelong appreciation for music.
We believe in creating a supportive and inclusive environment where every child can thrive and discover their unique musical talents.
Los Angeles roots
In Los Angeles, we implement our own curriculum and lesson plans, developed and refined based on years of experience working with children of all ages and backgrounds.
Our curriculum is designed to be engaging, interactive, and accessible, with a focus on hands-on learning and creative expression.
We know what works and what doesn’t work because we have seen the impact of our programs firsthand.
By continually evaluating and refining our approach, we ensure that we are providing the highest quality music education possible.

Marsha Smith, CEO
With a lifelong passion for music and a robust educational background in music management from Berklee College of Music, Marsha Smith has been at the forefront of nurturing young musical talents.
As the founder and creative force behind Minibop Music, she has dedicated herself to leading a team of expert music educators, making a significant impact in the lives of children.
Marsha’s musical journey began early, with years of piano playing, participating in numerous musicals, and being part of an a cappella group. This deep immersion in the arts fueled her determination to fill the void left by the decreasing emphasis on creative and arts programs in schools.
Her vision for Minibop Music was further solidified after becoming a mother, where she recognized the profound importance of integrating music, movement, challenges, and love into the upbringing of children.
Testimonial
“My daughter and I had an incredible and invaluable experience. I brought my daughter at 8 months old, and my husband/family members saw positive changes in her in terms of how she interacts with others. I believe that she has developed great social skills and love for music, because of Minibop Music. This place is 5 out of 5 stars and I highly recommend it.” – Leslie L.
