Lyrics
I was bored one day and went on a walk
You won’t believe the sight I saw
Something rustled though the leaves
I heard some music through the breeze
We’re all friends at the jungle jam
Swing from vines and we clap our hands
We’re all dancing in the trees
Who else is at this par-ty
Five toucans up in the tree
Listen to them whistling
(Whistle medley twice)
Four elephants trumpeting
Use their trunks for harmonies
(Trumpet sounds for two lines)
Saw three monkeys in the trees
They were singing melodies
Ooh ooh ah ah eee eee eee (twice)
Two gorillas keep the beat
Pound their chests so happily
Boom boom bah bah bee bee bee bee (2x)
One big hippo on the keys
Tickling that ivory
(Keyboard solo)
And one last guest came from a far
Capybara on guitar
Wah wah whoa whoa wee wee wee
We’re all friends at the jungle jam
Swing from vines and we clap our hands
We’re all dancing in the trees
Having a blast at this par-ty
